Job summary

TJ Maxx in Tuscaloosa is hiring a retail team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring a positive customer experience and an organized store. You will engage with customers, manage merchandise flow, and support efficient operations.

You will train Associates, maintain tagging and stock, and collaborate with management to meet store goals while following safety and labor policies. This on-site role requires flexibility for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Team player capable of supporting store goals and safety policies.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards for efficient processing.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Tag, hang, secure, and code merchandise and ensure stock replenishment.
