Job summary

Work World is hiring an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Reno, NV. This full-time role requires availability nights and weekends with a pay range of $22.00–$26.00 per hour.

You will supervise staff, assist in training, manage daily procedures, and help ensure a clean, professional store environment while delivering outstanding customer service to our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Previous assistant management or leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license required; bilingual skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Help supervise store staff and support employee training activities
• Work alternating shifts with the Store Manager to support daily operations
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by store leadership
• Perform store opening and closing procedures
• Prepare and manage daily bank deposits, including bank drop-offs
• Obtain change for store operations when needed
• Receive, organize, and process incoming merchandise shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment
• Process customer purchases accurately in accordance with company procedures
• Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and provide assistance as needed
• Support customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions
