Position Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in daily store operations, mentoring team members to deliver fast, friendly service, and ensuring a great shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude with customers and team members.
2. Stock and restock inventory merchandise throughout the store.
3. Check in vendor deliveries.
4. Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts.
5. Assist in training staff and support the Store Manager as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of one year retail experience.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and process sales transactions.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work any shift within operational hours, including weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older and have reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Ensure the physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store.
• Lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
• Access all areas of the store and perform duties as required.
• Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as standing and working at the cash register.
