Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years of Retail, Warehouse, or Logistics Management experience.
  • Valid MO or IL state driver’s license and insurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including customer service, conflict resolution, and teamwork.
  • Leadership skills such as decision-making, goal-setting, and problem-solving, with the ability to motivate and lead employees.
  • Comfortable with workplace technology like registers, scheduling, and inventory management software.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Oversee store operations, resources, and budgets to meet or exceed goals and benchmarks.
  2. Model core values to promote a culture of safety, ethics, and quality.
  3. Supervise, train, and evaluate staff performance.
  4. Provide excellent customer service to donors, shoppers, and staff.
  5. Coach employees on performance and discipline when necessary.
  6. Assign daily duties and manage operational tasks.
  7. Identify and recommend employees for advancement.
  8. Protect company property and report any theft or misconduct.
  9. Follow and enforce all policies, procedures, and values.
  10. Manage staffing, payroll, and scheduling efficiently.
  11. Implement process improvements to reduce waste.
  12. Maintain a professional appearance per dress code.
  13. Complete MERS Goodwill's Leadership Development Cohort Program.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
