Job summary

Sam’s Club in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time member services associate. You will acknowledge members, guide them on self-service tech, assist with purchasing, and locate merchandise while maintaining safety and order across the floor.

You’ll also support supervision of staff, participate in recruiting, stock management, pricing, and ensure policy compliance per company guidelines. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; guiding and supporting self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving issues and concerns.
• Assists management with supervising associates, training on processes, providing direction, and ensuring policy compliance.
• Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise; organizes the sales floor; monitors safety and disposal of hazardous materials as needed.
• Maintains product rotation, signage, pricing, and merchandise presentation; notes shrink and damages; secures high-shrink items.
• Leads and participates in teams to meet customer needs and business priorities; coordinates work and supports change.
• Oversees picking and staging of club pickup orders; develops and implements processes to meet business needs.
• Promotes compliance with ethics, integrity, and company standards; supports Open Door Policy; collaborates with partners.
