Job summary

Max Distributing seeks energetic individuals to perform merchandising and product services at retailer locations across the United States. We provide on-the-job training and ongoing support, with a warm, team-focused culture and strong field growth potential.

Ideal candidates can work independently, lift physical items, and travel as needed. A valid U.S. driver's license and comfort with mobile tech are required, with travel up to 50% and up to 100 miles per day in some routes.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with professionalism.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Valid U.S. driver's license for the last 3 years.
• Capable of multiple store visits daily and travel up to 100 miles per day.
• Able to climb and work from heights (9–12 feet).
• Able to inspect merchandise and displays.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Comfort with using a smartphone/tablet for daily tasks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with advance notice; company travel reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Build professional relationships with Store Management and Associates and educate them on products and reorder process.
• Take orders for various products and enter orders in a mobile app.
• Ensure products are displayed and stocked per plan-o-gram; reset sections as needed.
• Report service visits, uploading photos via mobile app.
• Place signage, pricing, or collateral during store visits.

We'll get you up to speed and working quickly with on-the-job training with one of our dedicated merchandising team members and provide ongoing support to ensure your success.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism and are comfortable having professional selling conversations with retail store personnel.
• Ability to lift 25lbs on a regular basis and 50lbs on occasion
• A valid U.S. driver's license in good standing for the last 3 years
• Ability to complete multiple store visits per day and ability to drive up to 100 miles per day to complete store visits routes.
• Ability to climb and work from heights ranging from 9 to 12 feet
• Ability to visually inspect and manipulate merchandise and advertising displays
• Ability to frequently stoop, kneel and crouch
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be comfortable using a smart device like an iPhone or tablet and using this technology as part of daily activities.
• Flexibility to travel beyond assigned geography, with advance notice, for overnight travel (company reimburses travel expenses).
