Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. – HomeGoods in Biddeford, ME is seeking a Store Associate to uphold receiving and merchandising standards, engage customers, and maintain a clean, organized store.

You’ll train Associates, ensure accurate tagging and stock flow, and support management with priority execution. Ideal candidates have 1 year of retail experience, 6 months in a leadership role, and strong communication, multitasking, and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience required.
• 6 months of leadership experience required.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Team player with ability to train others and work with peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing.
• Engage with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience and maintain store cleanliness.
• Train and mentor Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded and flows to the sales floor.
• Communicate priorities and progress to management and address safety and compliance requirements.
