Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at HomeGoods in Portland, OR. The role focuses on executing receiving and merchandising standards, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized store.

You’ll work with a team to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor, train new Associates, and uphold safety and loss-prevention programs while supporting store goals.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains and upholds signage standards and backroom organization.
• Promotes safety and adheres to labor laws and company policies.
• Supports credit and loyalty programs and shrink reduction initiatives.
