Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. in Rockford, IL is hiring a team member to execute receiving and merchandising standards, ensure efficient processing, and deliver an exceptional customer experience in a clean, organized store.

You will train and mentor associates, communicate priorities with management, rotate back stock, and help uphold safety and shrink goals. Flexible scheduling, strong communication, and the ability to lift heavy objects are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership experience.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure associates are processing efficiently and effectively.
• Engage with customers to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Orchestrate truck deliveries and prioritize merchandise on the sales floor.
• Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles.
• Maintain tagging, hanging, securing, and coding of merchandise.
• Communicate with management to ensure flow of goods to sales floor.
