Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is hiring for a Sierra Store associate in Bellingham, WA. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, interact with customers to ensure a superior shopping experience, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

You will orchestrate truck delivery, train colleagues, and ensure merchandise is properly tagged and displayed. The role requires flexibility to work nights/weekends and a commitment to safety and company policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring Associates process efficiently and effectively.
• Delivers excellent customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
• Monitors team productivity and coaches as necessary.
• Promotes shelving back stock organization and replenishment.
• Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Maintains backroom cleanliness and recovery standards.
• Complies with recycling and hazardous waste programs where applicable.
• Communicates priorities clearly and provides feedback and recognition.
