Job summary

Michaels Stores in Tucson is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and promotional execution.

You will lead a team, manage SOP adherence, execute ship-from-store, RTVs, and stock movements, and coach staff to deliver a customer-ready store. The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership and a strong focus on in-stock optimization and loss

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure adherence to policies and standards and hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck processing and ensure timely merchandising flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute promotional ad sets and ensure accurate pricing changes.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTVs/ ASN processing.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Partner to maintain asset protection practices.
