Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Texas seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to assist the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and driving positive customer experiences through merchandising and freight processing.

You will support store operations, open/close procedures, asset protection, and policy adherence while maintaining store standards and assisting with freight flow, stock needs, and monthly planning.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical duties as described.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure a clean and presentable store environment.
