Job summary

Michaels in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to keep pricing accurate and promotions timely.

You will lead SOP compliance, coach staff, manage Ship from Store, RTVs, and ASN processes, and ensure a customer-ready store environment with strong workload planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership alignment.
• Implement Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution to ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement as per company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
