Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Pasadena, CA area. You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards, while ensuring pricing accuracy and timely promotion execution.

You will lead truck processes, in-stock optimization, and planogram compliance, train and coach staff, and uphold asset protection practices in a fast-paced retail environment. NIGHTS/WEEKENDS possible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead and coach teams to execute SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and ensuring SOP compliance and policy adherence.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising to company standards.
• Maintain backroom organization and a customer-ready store environment.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movement, and pricing changes.
