Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager at our East Hanover, NJ location to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of retail leadership experience with a proven ability to lead teams, manage SOPs, and maintain store

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
Experience driving merchandising and store execution.
Strong ability to manage inventory, pricing, and promotions.

Responsibilities

Assist Store Manager in adhering to SOPs and Company programs for compliance.
Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and outcomes.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to maintain in-stock levels and replenishment.
Oversee planogram execution, ensuring accurate merchandising sets on schedule.
Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready environment including backroom and sales floor.
