Michaels in Reston, VA is seeking a Retail Merchandise Manager to lead merchandising and store operations. You will supervise truck processing, pricing accuracy, promotions, and in-store presentation to ensure a customer-ready experience.

The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to manage inventory, stock flow, and SOP adherence. Regular shifts include nights/weekends and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Strong workload planning and organization to manage truck processing, pricing, promotions and planograms.

Responsabilités

• Assist Store Manager in leading and enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership to match staffing needs.
• Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines for inventory accuracy and stock readiness.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready floor presentation.
• Manage inventory control, replenishment accuracy, and shrink reduction.
