Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking an entry-level in-store merchandising associate to support retailers and drive sales. You will build displays, reset shelves, track inventory, and assist with leadership tasks such as reporting, training, and onboarding new hires.

We provide comprehensive training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide network of brands and retailers. Must be comfortable with physical work and customer interactions, with a ready-to-lead attitude.

Qualifications

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• You’re 18 years or older.
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs.
• Build displays and end caps.
• Reset shelves with product rotation.
• Track inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities.
• Support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, as well as onboarding new hires.
