Job summary

Anderson Merchandisers in San Francisco is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to execute company standards, drive sales, and meet retailer and client expectations. This role reports to the Market Sales Manager with daily guidance from the Territory Sales Lead.

Responsibilities include building rapport with store personnel, educating on brand features, executing displays and projects with accuracy, and maintaining policy knowledge. A flexible schedule and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must lift objects and product up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 35 lbs; can lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Work may be performed while sitting, standing or walking.
• Fine manipulation of hands and fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing with mobility.
• Flexible schedule including nights, overnights and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license; occasional travel to additional locations.
• Automobile liability insurance maintained.
• Access to computer, internet, printing capabilities and e-mail.
• Customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport through daily communication with store associates and management.
• Educate customers and store personnel on features and benefits of our client’s brands and product lines.
• Execute tasks, projects, resets and displays with accuracy following instructions.
• Maintain accuracy and high quality of work to meet client expectations.
• Merchandise and execute assigned projects to maintain account aesthetics and high execution standards.
• Know company policies in detail.
• Communicate daily activities and sales opportunities to Territory Sales Lead and Market Sales Manager.
• Proficiently use handheld device functions.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, client and retailer information.
