Job summary

TJ Maxx at The TJX Companies, Inc., Tupelo, MS, is hiring a store team member to support receiving and merchandising while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will help keep stock organized, tag/price merchandise, and maintain store standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong communication and teamwork, and the ability to lift heavy objects are required. Retail experience and leadership potential will help you grow with TJX.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and adapt to changing directions.
• Team player with the ability to train others.
• Retail experience of 1 year and leadership exposure of 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards; ensure associates process efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensure merchandise is tagged, hung, secured, and coded; manage backroom stock.
