Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Tailor-Alterations at Men's Wearhouse. You will assist customers, take alterations requests, and ensure final garments look attractive, fit well, and feel right.

You'll mark, alter, and press garments, ensure proper fit, answer questions, and help keep the tailor shop organized. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and accuracy in alterations for men's tailored clothing.

Qualifications

• Formal training for tailoring preferred
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred
• Good technical skill
• Sound knowledge of various types of sewing equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Team attitude and enthusiasm
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men's tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in selling by greeting and addressing customer requests for alterations
• Mark, alter, and press garments as selected by customers
• Ensure proper fit of garments
• Answer customer questions
• Maintain an open dialogue with management
• Help other team members
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized
• Ensure customers are properly sized
• Offer new wardrobe ensemble suggestions
