Job summary

GGP is seeking a Market Research Analyst in Chicago to support leasing and marketing with data-driven insights. You will analyze trade areas, demographics, and market conditions, producing presentations, maps, and visualizations for retailer outreach and portfolio positioning.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of market research experience, with strong Excel, PowerPoint, GIS, and data visualization skills. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Geography, Economics, Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years in market research, analytics, or commercial real estate preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; GIS/spatial analysis and data visualization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare research, analytics and data-driven materials for leasing and marketing teams.
• Assess trade areas, competitors, and market conditions to support leasing decisions.
• Compile market data from established sources and create maps, charts and visualizations.
• Summarize analytical findings for internal teams and stakeholders.
