Job summary

SNIPES USA in Bethlehem is seeking a Manager in Training to oversee store operations in the Store Manager's absence. This entry level management role develops leadership skills and drives store performance.

You will guide staff, ensure excellent customer service, maintain merchandising standards, and support daily sales goals and loss prevention. The position offers growth opportunities, a generous employee discount, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2+ years’ experience in retail preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Communication and organizational skills.
• Strong drive to achieve results; takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Candidates will be required to stand for long periods and lift 15–30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals.
• Assist Store Manager/Assistant Manager with communicating the store’s operational goals and directives.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating performance in sales, hourly production, UPTs, and loss prevention.
• Demonstrate proper leadership to aid Store Manager in managing staff.
• Execute floor set guides and promotions in a timely manner.
• Direct and maintain merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards.
• Communicate customer needs and ensure the assortment meets them.
• Support markdowns and transfers; ensure cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom.
