Job summary

Cargo Largo, a leader in monetizing unclaimed inventory, seeks a Store Leader to guide a 30+ person retail team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in Independence, MO. You will model exceptional customer service, drive store results, and develop frontline staff.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of retail management and a proven ability to lead teams to exceed performance metrics while maintaining a positive culture and strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience with 25+ direct reports.
• Experience developing direct reports into higher responsibility roles.
• Proven track record thriving in high-volume traffic environments.
• Hands-on experience with front-end retail teams.
• Love of retail; willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspire & develop 30+ associate team of Cashiers, Customer Service Associates and more
• Resolve escalated customer issues via win/win approach
• Open/close & drive results storewide as MOD
• On the floor 70% of the time working shoulder-to-shoulder with team
• Enhance customer experience ensuring register lines are consistently <= 3 people
• Be the role model and leader of exceptional customer experience storewide

Pay Rate:$60k and up plus bonus

We're an industry leader in monetizing new, unclaimed/excess inventory for premier U.S. companies. We sell this inventory in our well-known, local retail store (10,000+ transactions/week), on-site bid sale (1,400+ bid lots/week), and online via eBay (3,300+ listings/week).

We'll process over 1M unique SKUs each year arriving in 40-60 trailer loads per week. The variety is amazing ranging from consumer items (clothing, laptops, designer pursues) to commercial (rooftop air conditioners, restaurant ovens, airplane parts).
