Job summary

Scheels is seeking a Maintenance Associate in Wisconsin to build, repair, and install fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, and wall coverings across our stores. You’ll inspect for safety on the sales floor, assist with floor moves and displays, and perform daily maintenance of amusement rides and attractions.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree or 1–2 years of related experience, with the ability to lift heavy objects and work independently while following Scheels safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk and hear with/without accommodations.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and install facility fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, wall coverings, windows, doors and partitions.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of amusements and attractions.
• Assist external service vendors in areas like escalators, elevators, HVAC, boiler, irrigation, sprinklers, generators and landscaping.
• Maintain familiarity with equipment and tools and work as a reliable team member.
