Job summary

Scheels All Sports, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate to build, repair, and install fixtures across our store facilities.

You will inspect safety conditions on the floor, assist with displays, and coordinate with external vendors for building systems maintenance. The ideal candidate has an associate degree or 1–2 years of related experience and can work independently with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree or 1–2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and install fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, wall coverings, windows, doors, and partitions.
• Inspect for safety on the sales floor and throughout the store.
• Assist with floor moves, displays, and other duties on the retail floor.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of amusement rides, attractions, and simulators.
• Coordinate with outside service companies on equipment and systems (e.g., escalators, elevators, HVAC, irrigation).
• Know equipment and tools and how to use them properly.
• Be a good teammate and assist colleagues as needed.
• Maintain the physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
• Work independently and troubleshoot problems.
