Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across designated stores. This role includes frequent overnight travel and requires adherence to safety protocols to keep our locations in top condition for customers and employees.

You’ll troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, structural, and equipment issues, manage work orders, assist in vendor selection, and ensure reliable building and ground maintenance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet AutoZone’s driving requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across designated stores.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment.
• Report store conditions using electronic media and manage work orders for assigned stores.
• Assist in identifying vendors and performing diagnostics on the Energy Management System.
