Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our retail stores well-maintained and safe. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across a designated area, addressing electrical, plumbing, and building issues to ensure stores stay in top condition for customers and employees.

The role includes managing work orders, assisting in vendor identification, and complying with safety protocols, with frequent overnight travel to support multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine store visits to perform maintenance, repairs and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor issues involving electrical, structural and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and manage work orders for assigned stores.
• Assist in identifying and coordinating vendors; participate in diagnostics of systems.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE; ensure stores remain in top condition.
