Job summary

ShopRite of Uniondale is seeking a Maintenance Associate to deliver great customer service while keeping the store clean and safe. You will perform janitorial duties, restock supplies, and maintain the appearance of bathrooms and common areas.

Watch for safety and follow all policies, including uniform and attendance rules. The role may require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods during shifts at the Uniondale location in NY.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English and understand instructions.
• Stand/walk for entire shift; lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Respect safety rules and wear required uniform/clothing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and assist store guests.
• Perform maintenance and janitorial duties to keep store clean and sanitary.
