Rural King is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment. The role covers routine cleaning, basic repairs, safety, and upkeep of the store and surrounding areas.

You will support unloading, stocking, zoning, and other store activities while providing friendly, professional service to customers and teammates. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement within Rural King.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 30 pounds repetitively and 31–50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Close vision required for computer-related activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the store and surrounding areas.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs (changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, repairing fixtures).
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and malfunctioning equipment.
• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, zoning, and other store activities.
• Provide friendly and professional support to customers and associates.
• Participate in cross-training and required learning opportunities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
