Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking a Stock Associate to service Lowe's stores by stocking Novo materials and merchandising lumber and millwork across several Michigan stores. This role requires ensuring products are stocked neatly, coordinating with Lowe's receiving, and assisting with events and store resets.

Responsibilities

• Stock Novo products in Lowe's stores within 36 hours of delivery, following the Stocking Program.
• Merchandise and stock lumber and millwork at Lowe's across assigned territories.
• Keep aisles clean and products neatly displayed; return items to proper locations.
• Perform culls and ensure credits for damaged pieces.
• Assist with store events, set/reset activities, and product knowledge trainings.
• Coordinate with Lowe's receiving department to confirm product availability.

Position SummaryThe person in this position is responsible for servicing assigned Lowe's stores by fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Stocking Program with Lowe's, which includes stocking Novo materials that have been previously shipped to the store. This position merchandises/stocks lumber and millwork at Lowe's stores across Michigan.Territory: Commerce Township, Clinton Township, Chesterfield, and SouthfieldSalary and Incentives$20/hr.$2,000 bonusMonthly Car Allowance: $380/mo.Mileage ReimbursementEssential ResponsibilitiesEnsure your safety while working in the Lowe's store, as well as the safety of those around you, including Lowes personnel or Lowe's customersBe courteous and professional to the customerCommunicate effectively with Lowe's store personnelContact the Lowes receiving department of the store you are responsible for to confirm availability of products to be stockedStock Novo products included in the Stocking Program within 36 hours of when they are delivered (after the materials have been received in the Lowes system) unless other arrangements are made with authorized Lowe’s representativesRetrieve Novo products from inventory, break bundles, and stock products appropriatelyEnsure all Novo products that are stocked look neat/tidy:Straighten and push back moulding,Return ALL products to their proper location.Stock moulding in the proper bin locations.Perform culls and ensure Lowe’s has properly received credit for damaged pieces found during the stocking process.Keep aisles free of debris during the stocking process.Clean up and properly dispose of all bundle ties and other packing materials.Return or arrange for the return of all carts and/or cattle racks to their proper location.Participate in special events for customers (i.e. Grand Openings, Contractor Days, product knowledge training, etc.), as requested.Assist with store set/reset activity, as needed.Basic Qualifications (Required)High school diploma or GEDA valid unrestricted driver’s license (Other than vision)Automobile Insurance coverage (you will need to provide proof)Good organizational and time management skillsBasic math skills.Self-motivatedAbility to work independentlyPreferred QualificationsPrior experience stocking customer stores.Travel RequirementsTravel to assigned Lowes store(s) in a local geographic region.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Standing, walking, bending or twistingLift up to 50 lbs.Lifting 100 lbs. with use of equipment or assistancePushing/pulling up to 25 lbs.About NovoNovo Building Products is an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of stair parts, mouldings, doors, specialty millwork, and a variety of board products.
