Job summary

Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a dedicated loss prevention professional to prevent and reduce losses from bad debt, cash over/short, and civil liabilities across our stores. The role emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and adherence to corporate values as part of The Kroger Company family.

You will work to reduce shrink, protect assets, and uphold a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility for shifts, overtime, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures and organizational structure.
• Retail security experience.
• Law enforcement experience (preferred).
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• High level of integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Monitor large shrink areas in stores.
• Report incidents to the asset protection manager.
• Protect assets by detecting theft and preventing loss.
• Identify areas of high theft and implement controls.
• Provide credible court testimony when required.
• Support internal investigations and training as needed.
