Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice is required
• Retail security experience preferred
• Law enforcement experience preferred
• Must pass a drug test
• Minimum age 18; 21 in Alaska
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy
• Must handle sensitive information confidentially

Responsibilities

• Prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities.
• Reduce shrink and improve margins while maintaining safety.
• Detect, deter and/or detain external theft suspects.
• Report incidents to the asset protection manager.
• Provide credible court testimony when required.
• Promote customer service and train associates on loss prevention practices
