Job summary

Fred Meyer is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short and civil liabilities, while upholding safety and corporate policies. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include modeling Customer 1st behavior, detecting theft, reducing dishonesty, monitoring large shrink areas, reporting incidents to the asset protection manager, and providing training to staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures and organizational structure.
• Retail security experience.
• Law enforcement experience.
• Ability to continue education.
• Minimum 18 years of age/21 years of age in Alaska.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects.
• Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

• Verify compliance with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
