Weis Markets is seeking an Asset Protection Investigator to safeguard company assets across multiple locations in the Philadelphia area. The role emphasizes investigating external theft, gathering intelligence, documenting evidence, and coordinating with law enforcement to secure prosecutions.

Responsibilities include CCTV operation, undercover surveillance, and collaboration with Store Management and AP teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Criminal Justice, Criminology, Business, or related field preferred.
• One year retail loss prevention experience in a retail store environment.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and resolve external theft.
• Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates intelligence on individuals and groups involved in organizational retail crime.
• Documents information gathered to aid in prosecution.
• Provide guidance to store Asset Protection teams on investigative plans.
• Operate the store CCTV system.
• Conduct undercover surveillances.
• Act as a liaison between Weis Markets and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
• Refers cases to law enforcement for prosecution.
• Represent Weis Markets in court hearings and mediations.
• Manage time and scheduling including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnights.
• Travel to multiple locations within an assigned area to provide investigative support.
• Partner with Store Management and associates to protect company assets.
• Support stores in cases of significant business disruptions.
