This full-time, on-site role focuses on accurate processing, maintenance, and servicing of retail loans while supporting customers and internal partners throughout the loan lifecycle.

You will review documents, book loans, handle account maintenance, payoffs, escrow transactions, and ensure compliance with bank policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years in banking, loan servicing, or financial services.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

Reliance Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Loan Operations Specialist I to join our Retail Loan Operations team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Corporate Office in Altoona, PA. As a Retail Loan Operations Specialist I, you'll help ensure retail loans are accurately processed, maintained, and serviced while supporting customers and internal teams throughout the loan lifecycle.

What You'll Do

• Review loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Book and maintain loans within the Bank's systems.
• Process account maintenance requests, including payment reversals, modifications, escrow transactions, and account updates.
• Support loan servicing functions such as payoffs, collateral releases, and automatic payment maintenance.
• Maintain loan files and documentation in accordance with Bank policies.
• Research and resolve loan servicing issues, discrepancies, and account exceptions.
• Perform balancing, reconciliation, and quality control activities.
• Assist customers and internal business partners with loan servicing inquiries.
• Support escrow administration, audits, and compliance-related activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of experience in banking, loan servicing, lending operations, loan processing, or financial services
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to learn and work within multiple banking systems and software platforms

Preferred:

• Knowledge of consumer loan products and loan documentation
• Experience with loan servicing, post-closing activities, or account maintenance
