Job summary

Simon Property Group in Indianapolis seeks a leasing professional to drive high-volume lease activity for SPG centers. You will cultivate tenants, review financials, negotiate terms, and coordinate with Legal and Construction to execute leases.

Expect frequent travel (50%) and a flexible schedule as you identify desirable retailers, develop leasing plans, and manage center performance to maximize owner returns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-4 years of retail leasing/selling experience.
• Knowledge of merchandising mix and retailing.
• Knowledge of deal structures and lease terminology.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate prospective tenants and promote SPG centers.
• Qualify tenants by reviewing financials and references; negotiate terms.
• Coordinate with Legal to prepare leases and setup tenant spaces.
• Identify potential tenants via market canvassing and site visits.
• Develop leasing plans and coordinate budget, CAM, taxes, and center performance.
