Rappaport, a Metropolitan Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate firm, seeks a Retail Advisor to join the leasing team. This apprenticeship-style role exposes you to negotiations, tenant outreach, LOI drafting, legal processes, and interaction with institutional landlords, attorneys, lenders, and other departments.

You will support prospecting, market analysis, and preparation of marketing collateral, with responsibilities expanding over time based on performance.

Qualifications

• Eager to build a career in commercial real estate brokerage.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Illustrator.
• Intermediate proficiency using AI tools for research, drafting, and analysis.
• Curious to understand the why behind deals, markets, and strategy.
• Be tactful and diplomatic with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Possess good organization and follow-up skills.
• Collaboration and mentorship are key; remote work is not available.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the retail leasing team on prospecting, targeting, and site visits.
• Interact with tenants to support underwriting and lease document execution.
• Prepare retail transaction analyses to support lease presentations.
• Maintain relationships with landlords and stay informed on current deals.
• Assist in drafting LOIs for select transactions.
• Help create the Leasing Report for properties and monthly meetings.
• Prepare market studies of DC Metro submarkets with Marketing for collateral.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Role expands over time based on performance and business needs.
