Job summary

Centro Escolar University is seeking a part-time Acting Sales Lead to mentor associates, drive sales, and uphold store standards. You will work nights, weekends, and holidays, with 20–25 hours weekly and a client-first approach.

You’ll partner with store leaders to plan visual merchandising, manage cash handling, and develop team members through coaching, training, and daily operations in a fast-paced fashion retail environment.

Qualifications

• Current college junior, senior, or recent graduate.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Balance customer service and store operations.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising standards.
• Cash handling accuracy.
• Effective communication with clients and team.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with technology and POS systems.
• Enjoys coaching and communicating with team members.
• Initiative in decision-making and prioritizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Sales Lead to develop leadership skills and manage key operations.
• Motivate associates to exceed client expectations.
• Drive sales by monitoring metrics and identifying trends.
• Maintain an efficient, client-focused environment and resolve issues.
• Plan, execute, and adjust visual merchandising directives.
• Support store managers with opening/closing, cash handling, and keys.
• Coach associates on client interactions to maximize productivity.
• Use reports to guide merchandising decisions and maintain standards.
• Complete daily tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
• Represent the brand by adhering to dress code and fostering inclusivity.
