The Salvation Army Thrift Store seeks a Lead Sales Associate to support store management, ensure smooth daily operations, and deliver excellent customer service in Arnold, MO. This part-time role includes evenings and weekends as scheduled and requires strong cash handling and POS proficiency.

You will assist with opening/closing procedures, banking, inventory turnover, and maintaining displays while contributing to the mission-driven environment and ongoing staff training.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Support management with product sales and acquisition.
• Implement store opening and closing procedures.
• Handle banking and daily deposits.
• Execute strategies to meet product acquisition, production and sales goals.
• Manage product rotation process and inventory turnover.
• Create an enjoyable shopping experience with positive customer service skills.
• Handle customer complaints as needed.
