Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle cash accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Experience operating IBM cash registers.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise following store procedures.
• Set up plan-o-grams and maintain displays.
• Provide exemplary customer service and assist shoppers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and make change.
• Keep store area clean and safe; handle trash and restock.
• Open/close store under direction as needed.
