The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Plymouth, IN is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to support store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and help advance our mission.

This part-time role requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability, with a pay rate of $14.50 per hour. You will contribute to banking, product rotation, displays, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for our community.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (required).
• Retail experience required.
• Ability to speak, write and understand English for effective communication.
• Proficient cash handling and accurate change-giving abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support management with product sales and acquisition.
• Implement store opening and closing procedures.
• Handle banking and daily deposits.
• Executes strategies to meet sales and product goals.
• Manages product rotation and inventory turnover.
• Create an enjoyable shopping experience with strong customer service.
• Handle customer complaints as needed.
• Maintain displays and floor layout.
• Provide direction to staff in absence of management.
• Communicate with store management on operations.
• Document concerns in behavior or attitude.
• Assist with basic register problem solving.
