Job summary

FASHIONPHILE is seeking a retail team member for the Carlsbad, CA location. You will open/close the store, deliver outstanding customer service, and help hit sales goals while supporting daily operations such as cash handling, merchandising and inventory control.

You will train and onboard new teammates, address customer concerns promptly, and contribute to a positive, high-energy team working across shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred, lead or Keyholder responsibilities appreciated.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced store environment.
• Flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store following procedures, ensuring security and safety.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Support store leadership with daily operations: cash handling, merchandising and inventory control.
• Serve as a point of contact for associates, providing guidance and problem resolution during shifts.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new team members.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating as needed.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by motivating and recognizing performance.

About The Opportunity

• Opening and closing the store in accordance with company procedures, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed
• Leading by example in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales goals
• Supporting store leadership in overseeing daily operations, including cash handling, merchandising, and inventory control
• Serving as a point of contact for store associates, providing guidance, support, and problem resolution during shifts
• Assisting in training and onboarding of new team members
• Addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary
• Contributing to a positive team environment by motivating and recognizing team performance.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous retail experience; lead or Keyholder responsibilities preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Tech savvy with the ability to work with multiple tech devices, google drive and apple products
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the sales floor

Pay Rate: This position begins at $20/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's Carlsbad, CA location. This role is also eligible for uncapped commission.
