Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to establish and maintain store inventory control. The RICS ensures the sales floor is stocked and merchandise flows correctly, completing documentation and system processes in a timely manner while keeping the stock room clean and organized.

As the store's expert on inbound and outbound inventory, you will verify deliveries meet company standards, process RTVs, transfers, and markdowns, and coach the sales team on inventory

• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed customer expectations and build relationships.
• Process all inbound/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for selling floor and follow ticketing/signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags and manage loss prevention steps.
• Input freight information accurately in systems.
• Handle RTVs, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policy.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory processes.
• Maintain neat stock room and comply with laws and policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork.
