Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to manage store inventory accuracy and inbound/outbound flows, ensuring the sales floor remains stocked and ready to serve customers.

You will collaborate with team members, process receipts, transfers, and ticketing, and uphold loss prevention standards while training staff on inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to standards.
• Prepare merchandise for selling floor and follow ticketing/signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor.
• Input freight information accurately into systems; manage RTVs, transfers, re-tickets, or markdowns.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory processes affecting customer experience.
• Maintain UPH targets; keep stock room neat and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to laws and company policies; perform other duties as assigned.
