Job summary

Boot Barn is hiring a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to oversee the store's inbound and outbound inventory, ensuring the sales floor is stocked and processes run smoothly. You will manage accuracy, tagging, and documentation to support replenishment and a positive shopping experience.

The ideal candidate collaborates with sales teams, follows company standards, and maintains organized stock rooms while upholding all laws and policies.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; build long-standing customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Ensure merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information accurately through appropriate systems.
• Educate and coach sales team on processes affecting customer experience in inventory control.
• Maintain a neat, orderly stock room compliant with company/state guidelines.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
