Job summary

Boot Barn, Inc. in Monroe, LA is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to manage inbound/outbound inventory, ensure merchandise is stocked, and support sales goals.

As the store expert on inventory, you will process deliveries, verify compliance to standards, maintain the stock room, and coach the sales team on processes affecting the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information accurately through the appropriate systems.
• Educate and coach sales team on processes affecting customer experience in inventory control.
• Maintain a neat stock room compliant with Company/State guidelines.
