Job summary

Boot Barn in Monroe, LA is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist (RICS) to manage inbound/outbound inventory and ensure the sales floor is fully stocked with merchandise to support customer experience and sales goals.

You will process all inventory movement, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate records, while educating the sales team on inventory procedures and upholding loss prevention guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Ensure merchandise is ready for the selling floor and properly ticketed.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
• Input freight information accurately through appropriate systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policies.
• Educate and coach sales team on processes affecting customer experience.
• Maintain productivity targeting units per hour (UPH).
• Keep stock room neat, organized and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork.
