Job summary

Stein's is seeking an Inventory Management Analyst in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee inventory control, shrink reductions, and reporting, while collaborating with Accounts Payable to ensure PO receipts and invoices align. The role also supports buying with item maintenance and pricing across retail locations.

You will train store teams, manage cycle counts, and develop performance metrics to improve inventory accuracy and financial controls across all stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Strong analytical and data management skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in inventory processes and cycle counts preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel including filters, pivots, and subtotals.
• Ability to train and lead store personnel on inventory concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory research, adjustment requests, and cycle counts.
• Monitor retail adjustments, transfers, and negative inventory activity.
• Oversee vendor activity, billing accuracy, returns, and credits.
• Develop metrics and reports on store inventory accuracy and shrinkage.
• Collaborate with Buying on UPC errors and item maintenance.
• Lead annual physical inventories with store leadership and training teams.
