Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an Intermediate Architecture Designer for Retail / Branded Environments in New York, NY. This hybrid role focuses on concept-driven retail interiors, integrating store planning, millwork, fixtures and branding across projects.

You will lead design development, coordinate with clients and consultants, prepare test-fits and design budgets, and ensure documentation meets programmatic and code requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of retail interiors and branded environments.
• Strong concept design and store planning experience.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with photo-realistic renderings using Enscape and AI tools.
• Ability to coordinate across design and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead concept development and execution for retail interiors projects.
• Interface with clients throughout the design phase.
• Oversee design team in collaboration with design director.
• Develop preliminary retail programs and test-fits.
• Prepare scope and budget documentation for fixtures and millwork.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and the project team.
• Attend design presentations and specify finishes.
• Review engineering drawings to ensure design intent.
• Visit sites during construction as needed.
