Miller Zell Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Manager- Installations to lead project development, estimation and coordination from inception to completion. This role requires professionalism to control expenditures and ensure on-time delivery.

You will meet with clients, architects and engineers to define requirements, monitor schedules, coordinate crews, review change orders and manage invoicing where applicable, while implementing an effective PM strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial retail construction management.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration with clients and teams.
• Ability to read floor plans and construction documents.
• Proficiency with MS Project and Outlook.
• Experience with installation practices and techniques.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager- Installations is responsible for project development, estimating, and project coordination. This position requires a high degree of maturity, ethics and professionalism to ensure the control of the company's expenditures. The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from inception to completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Develop and manage the project ensuring strict adherence to company policies regarding contractor selection.
• Meet with customer representatives, architects, and engineers to establish project requirements, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor and maintain construction project schedule.
• Serve as a liaison between MZ, contractors and MZ customers.
• Enforce contractual requirements.
• Review and approve all change orders.
• Execute all contract documents.
• Build relationships with Subcontractors and Installation Crews.
• Schedule Crews.
• Train Crews and Subcontractors.
• Manage project specific reporting, completion and closeout.
• Manage Subcontractor Invoicing/Customer Billing (where applicable).
• Order Equipment.
• Implementation of an effective project management strategy.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial retail construction management.

• Must function well in a fast-paced environment with high energy and a high sense of urgency, Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
